Chief has the most unique personality of any horse I've ever had. I think he was a human in his former life! LOVES LOVES LOVES attention, grooming, affection....anything goes with him. He is very smart and curious. I purchased him a few years ago from Colorado, because I just thought he was a doll and he is! His former owner trail rode all over the mountains of CO. Has zero issues on the trail...not spooky, no buck, rear or bolting.
Chief has mainly been used as a trail horse. We have also done over night camping with him and he was great.
He stands 14.3-15 hands (measured on a stick), but is not big huge type horse...easy to ride. Goes english or western. Chief is not a high energy horse, he is slow and calm. Would also make a great lesson horse. Excellent ground manners.
Always well taken care of and spoiled...never needs shoes.
